The mid career programme aims to support mid career individuals widen their professional networks and gain new in-demand skills in preparation for more permanent jobs in the future. Individuals taking on this programme can receive monthly training allowance of up to $3 800 per month depending on the scope of attachment.
The government will fund up to 80-90% of the training allowance.
All host organisations must fulfil the following criteria to qualify for the SGUnited Traineeships or SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme – Company Attachments:
a. Host organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore;
b. Offer traineeships/attachments ranging from 4 to 6 months (Traineeship/Attachments must commence by 31st March 2022)
c. Provide clear attachment descriptions and development plans that would provide fresh graduates and mid-career individuals with meaningful developmental opportunities during the traineeship or attachment period, subject to approval by the appointed programme manager.
d. Co-fund up to 20% of the training allowance for the duration of the attachment.
